Apr 15 2009

As you may know, Quaero, a CSG Solution, is sponsoring the upcoming Forrester Marketing Forum, Using the Down Economy to Catalyze Marketing Change.  Held at the Disney Yacht & Beach Club, April 23-24, 2009, this year's conference promises to be the most relevant yet, with an agenda that speaks directly to the marketers' most urgent challenge:  how to spend wisely and make every dollar count.

Planning to attend?  If so, be sure to check out the agenda and choose your track, which is organized by role (i.e., direct marketer, interactive marketer, marketing leadership, market researcher and technology product management & marketing professional) .  You can also visit the Facebook Event page to catch any updates.

I've highlighted a couple of interesting sessions below, but no matter which you attend, you're likely to walk away with some great information and (hopefully) some actionable insights.

  • Transform Marketing Through Interactive Channels - presented by Shar VanBoskirk, Vice President/Principal Analyst. In her session, Shar will discuss the merits of spending more in interactive marketing and how increasing online efforts can make your organization more customer-centric. Presented on the main stage.
  • The Future of Media: A Panel Discussion - panelists from Forreser, MTV Networks, Coca-Cola and Canoe Ventures will discuss the integration of traditional and digital media in marketing and identify which new media formats are currently relevant and how they're expected to evolve. Presented on the main stage.
  • Driving B2B Customer Engagement through Community - presented by Craig Dewar, Microsoft. For B2B marketers, the concept of integrating social media is still nascent. In this session, attendees will learn how Microsoft is leveraging communities to increase the level of customer engagement. Presented on the main stage.
  • Maximizing Marketing ROI Upside: How to Spend Smart and Grow with Less Budget. Featuring Forrester analyst, David Frankland, this session is targeted at the direct marketing professional. Presented as a track session.

Not attending?  Don't worry.  The main stage sessions are usually broadcast live and you can always catch up on track sessions via Twitter and/or blog posts.  If you're searching, the event tags for Twitter, Blogs, and Flickr are #FMF09 #Forrester #ForresterResearch #FORR.

I, for one, will be using all mediums to document my experiences at the show.  Follow me at @michellebb (Twitter) or visit the InsightIQ blog during the event for updates.

If you are planning to attend the Forum, please stop by our booth (500) in the partner pavilion.  We look forward to seeing you in Orlando.
